Mechanical portfolios
A mechanical portfolio follows a written rule: which instruments, what weights, when to rebalance. Each one below is tested on Bucharest Stock Exchange prices, and every rule and caveat is shown. They are examples of rules, not portfolios we suggest you hold.

Prices: daily closing prices from the Bucharest Stock Exchange (bvb.ro), end of day. Returns are price returns: dividends are not reinvested unless the instrument is a total-return index such as BET-TR, so share portfolios understate what a holder received. No trading costs, taxes, spreads or currency effects are included.
Company ratings come from EdgeScore's financial-strength verdicts (annual reports); dividend records from the same reports.
